This customer was looking for a new gaming computer that would last a long time and could be easily upgraded over time.

This system is designed for use in high end gaming in Dota 2, Dune Awakening, and Subnautica 2.

This customer previously purchased Strix Eclipse in 2017, only buying a new system once it started wearing down after 7 years.

  • The Ryzen 7 9800X3D gave the customer a great amount of single-core performance for high end gaming, and multicore performance for heavily-threaded tasks.
  • To ensure the CPU runs at full speed, a 360mm cooler is recommended
  • The customer wanted a stable motherboard with a good amount of desktop functionality.
  • The customer agreed with our recommendation for 32GB RAM.
  • The customer agreed with our storage recommendation.
  • The customer agreed with our recommendation for an RTX 5080 16GB.
  • We recommended a 1000W power supply based on the overall design of the build.
