Design Rationale

  • The Core Ultra 9 285K gave the customer a great amount of single-core performance for editing and modeling, and multicore performance for heavily-threaded tasks.
  • To ensure the CPU runs at full speed, liquid cooling with a 360mm liquid cooler is recommended.
  • The customer wanted a stable motherboard with a good amount of desktop functionality.
  • The customer wanted to max the build out with 256GB of RAM.
  • The customer requested the same storage capacity from their laptop purchase.
  • The customer was fine with our recommended video card.
  • The overall design of the build meant that a 1500W power supply was recommended.
  • We used our bigger mid-tower case to fit the build.
