Design Rationale

  • The Threadripper Pro 9995WX gave the customer a high amount of single-core and maximum multicore performance, and works well with the software licensing.
  • To ensure the CPU runs at full speed, liquid cooling with a 360mm liquid cooler is recommended.
  • The customer wanted a stable motherboard with a good amount of desktop functionality.
  • The customer wanted to have at least 512GB of RAM, more RAM was an easy upgrade.
  • The customer requested a single 2TB Gen5 NVME.
  • The customer agreed with our decision to use a server-grade video card for directed heat removal and long-term stability.
  • The overall design of the build meant that a 1200W power supply was recommended.
  • We used our full-tower case to fit the build.
  • We used our high-end fans to ensure proper airflow and static pressure, as well as extra fans on the RAM.
