This build is designed around a 24-core Core Ultra 9 285K processor and a RTX 5060 8GB video card.

Software Workload/Customer Need

This customer needed a powerful new workstation to handle their 3D printing hobby.

Their previous machine was not longer able to handle Autodesk Fusion, and they wanted a machine dedicated to 3D printing.

This customer previously purchased The Golden Computer.

Design Rationale

  • We recommended the Core Ultra 9 285K for stability in Fusion.
  • To ensure the CPU runs at full speed, liquid cooling is recommended.
  • The customer wanted a stable motherboard with a good amount of desktop functionality.
  • We recommended 32GB of memory due to the scale of production.
  • We recommended a single 1TB NVME, to save on cost and give the customer a decent amount of local storage
  • We recommended a RTX 5060 8GB based on the workload.
  • The overall design of the build meant that a 750W power supply was recommended.
  • We used a SFF case to fit the build.
