Workstations Built Around the AMD Threadripper 9000 and Threadripper PRO 9000WX Processors
After the recent Ryzen 9000 and EPYC 9000 processor updates, AMD is now bringing their robust Zen 5 architecture to the high-end desktop (HEDT) market with the AMD Threadripper 9000 and Threadripper PRO 9000WX processors!
These are available in 24, 32, and 64-core models which slot into the same TRX50 motherboards that the Threadripper 7000 series use. In the same manner, the workstation-class Threadripper PRO 9000WX fits in existing WRX90 boards and ranges from 16 to 96 cores.
Both of these processor families offer higher performance over the prior generation, with increased max boost speeds, as well as support for faster DDR5 6400MHz memory. Their Zen 5 architecture also brings full AVX512 512-bit functionality and other internal improvements.
