This build is designed around a 8-core Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor and an RX 7800XT 16GB video card.

Software Workload/Customer Need

This customer wanted a powerful 1080p gaming PC that would last a long time.

This customer preferred working with a local vendor for easier support, and had several wishes for visual appeal.

This build was influenced by our 1080p/240hz Gaming Computer.

Design Rationale

  • The Ryzen 7 7800X3D gave the customer a great amount of single-core performance for lightly-threaded workloads, and multicore performance for heavily-threaded tasks.
  • To ensure the CPU runs at full speed, and ensure that the CPU isn’t preheated by the GPU, a 360mm liquid cooler is recommended. The customer requested a white RGB model.
  • The customer wanted a stable motherboard with a good amount of desktop functionality and white coloring.
  • The customer requested 64GB of fast DDR5, with white RGB.
  • The customer requested a single 2TB Gen4 NVME SSD.
  • The customer requested a Radeon RX 7800XT 16GB.
  • The customer requested a white 1000W power supply.
  • The customer requested a white case that already had nice RGB fans.
  • We recommended a set of white RGB fans that matched the CPU cooler fans and case fans.
