This build is designed around an 8-core Ryzen 7 3700X processor and twin RTX 2070 Super 8GB video cards.

Software Workload/Customer Need

This customer was looking for a new powerful gaming computer that would last a long time and be easily upgraded over time.

This computer was also designed for live streaming, recording, and video editing.

This customer also purchased Grimm and Aries.

Design Rationale

  • The Ryzen 7 3700X gave the customer a good amount of single-core performance for gaming and multicore performance for heavily-threaded tasks.
  • To ensure the CPU runs at full speed, air cooling with a single-tower is recommended. The customer preferred liquid cooling with a white RGB 240mm AIO for visual appeal.
  • The customer wanted a stable motherboard with a good amount of desktop functionality.
  • The customer wanted at least 32GB of RAM.
  • The customer upgraded both drives in our default storage setup, doubling the capacity of both.
  • We recommended twin RTX 2070 Supers for multi-monitor support, and gaming and streaming performance.
  • The overall design of the build meant that a 850W power supply was recommended. The customer preferred a white model.
  • We used a bigger white mid-tower case to fit the build.
  • We used our high-end RGB fans to ensure proper airflow and static pressure.
