Design Rationale

  • The i9-12900K gave the customer a great amount of single-core performance for gaming, and multicore performance for heavily-threaded tasks.
  • To ensure the CPU runs at full speed, liquid cooling with a 360mm AIO is recommended. The customer wanted an RGB model.
  • The customer wanted a stable motherboard with a good amount of desktop functionality.
  • The customer wanted at least 32GB of RAM, wanted RGB, and wanted faster memory.
  • The customer was fine with the 512GB NVME boot drive, and requested an upgrade from 1TB to 2TB for secondary.
  • The customer wanted the RTX 3090 for ideal gaming performance.
  • The overall design of the build meant that a 1000W power supply was recommended.
  • We used our bigger mid-tower cases after showing the customer our previous build Phlegethon’s Keep.
  • While we recommended using our highest-performing fans to ensure proper airflow and static pressure, the customer wanted to use RGB fans for visual appeal.
