Design Rationale

  • The Ryzen 9 9950X gave the customer a great amount of single-core performance for general use, and multicore performance for heavily-threaded tasks. It is also faster in the applications than the Core Ultra 9, and recently supports high memory better.
  • To ensure the CPU runs at full speed, liquid cooling with a 360mm cooler is recommended.
  • The customer wanted a stable motherboard with a good amount of desktop functionality, and support for multiple Gen5 NVME SSDs.
  • The customer was fine with our recommended memory setup.
  • The customer was mostly fine with our recommended storage setup, giving him lots of room for large files, and speeding up SolidWorks boot time. They omitted a secondary drive after working with ProjectX for a few months.
  • We recommended the RTX 5000 ADA 32GB to be compatible with SolidWorks and give the user plenty of GPU-based render power.
  • We recommended a 1200W power supply based on the design of the build.
  • We used our regular mid-tower case for solid airflow and minimalistic design.
