Design Rationale

  • The Ryzen 7 2700X gave the customer a great amount of single-core performance for editing, and multicore performance for heavily-threaded tasks.
  • To ensure the CPU runs at full speed, air cooling with a single-tower cooler is recommended.
  • The customer wanted a stable motherboard with a good amount of desktop functionality.
  • The customer wanted at least 32GB of RAM, 64GB was an easy upgrade.
  • The customer was mostly fine with our default storage setup, adding a 1TB HDD.
  • We recommended the GTX 1660Ti for editing performance at the budget level.
  • The overall design of the build meant that a 750W power supply was recommended.
  • We used a good mid-tower case to fit the build.
  • We used our default fans to ensure proper airflow and static pressure.

Customer Review

“I had a great experience with Top Flight Computers. As a newer inexperienced person in the PC world Top Flight Computers worked to help me understand and build a system that far exceeded the capabilities of my old system.

The contact between me and Top Flight Computers to build my system called Fire Station never left me in doubt. Between almost instant responses to email questions, live video building of your system, set up and delivery, and a host of other benefits, you just cannot go wrong with this company.

I wish I have done this sooner as it would have saved me huge amounts of wasted time and grief. Have no doubts and go for it with Top Flight Computers.”
