Design Rationale

  • The i9-9900K gave the customer a good amount of single-core performance for modeling, and multicore performance for heavily-threaded tasks.
  • To ensure the CPU runs at full speed, liquid cooling with at least a 240mm AIO is recommended, 360mm AIO is preferred. The customer opted for a dual-tower air cooler to be more reliable.
  • The customer wanted a stable motherboard with a good amount of desktop functionality and support for several GPUs.
  • The customer wanted to max out the build with 128GB of RAM.
  • The customer opted for a single 2TB NVME for overall storage.
  • We recommended the RTX 2070 Super for editing and rendering performance, with a 120mm AIO cooler.
  • We recommended a 1600W power supply to accommodate for even more GPUs in the future.
  • We used a special mid-tower case to fit the AIO coolers.
  • We used our high-end fans to ensure proper airflow and static pressure.
