Design Rationale

  • The Ryzen 7 7800X3D gave the customer a great amount of single-core performance for lightly-threaded workloads, and multicore performance for heavily-threaded tasks.
  • To ensure the CPU runs at full speed, air cooling with a high-end tower cooler is recommended.
  • The customer wanted a stable motherboard with a good amount of desktop functionality.
  • We recommended 32GB RAM for the particular needs, more RAM is an easy upgrade for the customer to handle.
  • The customer agreed with our standard dual-drive storage recommendation.
  • We recommended an RTX 4070Ti Super for their monitor and future plans.
  • We recommended a 850W power supply based on the overall design of the build.
  • The customer was fine with our default case.
