This build is designed around a 8-core Ryzen 7 9850X3D processor and an RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell Workstation 96GB video card.

Software Workload/Customer Need

This customer needed a powerful new SFF workstation for demo use that would last a long time.

They found us by our ability to work with Nvidia Inception members.

This build was designed for AI development, while being portable enough to carry on a plane.

This build is based on our Ryzen 9000 SFF Workstation.

Design Rationale

  • The Ryzen 7 9850X3D gave the customer a great amount of single-core performance for general use, their workloads are not CPU-focused.
  • To ensure the CPU runs at full speed, liquid cooling is recommended. We opted for a 280mm to still fit in a fairly small case, and give more cooling power for the GPU.
  • The customer wanted a stable motherboard with a good amount of desktop functionality.
  • The customer was fine with our recommended memory setup.
  • The customer was fine with our recommended storage setup.
  • The customer requested the RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell Workstation 96GB for AI performance.
  • We recommended a 1200W power supply based on the design of the build.
  • We used a SFF case for solid airflow and minimalistic design.
