This build is designed around a 16-core i7-13700K processor and an RTX 4070Ti Super 16GB video card.

Software Workload/Customer Need

This customer needed a powerful new workstation to handle their growing professional workload that would last a long time.

This build was designed for photogrammetry and CAD. This build was designed specifically for Pix4D Matic, Rock Desktop, Carlson PhotoCapture, and DJI Terra.

This build was influenced by our i9 Photogrammetry Workstation.

Design Rationale

  • The i7-13700K gave the customer a great amount of single-core performance for lightly-threaded loads, and multicore performance for heavily-threaded tasks.
  • Liquid cooling with a 360mm liquid cooler is recommended for the i7.
  • The customer wanted a stable motherboard with a good amount of desktop functionality.
  • The customer was fine with our recommendation on memory.
  • The customer was fine with our recommendation on storage.
  • The customer was fine with our recommendation on GPU, this allows for faster processing times while not spending as much.
  • The overall design of the build meant that a 1200W power supply was recommended.
  • We used our bigger mid-tower case to fit the build.
