Design Rationale

  • The i9-9900K gave the customer a great amount of single-core performance for editing and gaming, and multicore performance for heavily-threaded tasks.
  • To ensure the CPU runs at full speed, liquid cooling with a 360mm AIO is recommended.
  • The customer wanted a stable motherboard with a good amount of desktop functionality.
  • The customer wanted at least 64GB of RGB RAM, and preferred to fill the RAM slots.
  • The customer was fine with our recommended storage setup.
  • We recommended the RTX 2080 for solid performance in editing and gaming. The blower-style GPU allowed for a second card to be easily added.
  • The overall design of the build meant that a 1000W Gold power supply was recommended.
  • We used a larger mid-tower case to fit the build.
  • The customer requested RGB fans, so we used high-end RGB fans to ensure proper airflow and static pressure.
