Design Rationale

  • The Ryzen 7 9800X3D gave the customer a great amount of single-core performance for high end gaming, and multicore performance for heavily-threaded tasks.
  • To ensure the CPU runs at full speed, a 360mm cooler is recommended
  • The customer wanted a stable motherboard with a good amount of desktop functionality.
  • The customer was already using 64GB RAM and wanted to keep that capacity.
  • The customer agreed with our storage recommendation.
  • The customer already had an RTX 4080 Super and was fine using it in the new build.
  • We recommended a 1200W power supply based on the overall design of the build.
  • We used our larger mid-tower case to fit the parts and give solid airflow.
