Software Workload/Customer Need

This customer was looking for a new powerful 4K gaming computer that would last a long time.

This build influenced Scarlet Wizard v2.

Design Rationale

  • The i9-9900K gave the customer a great amount of single-core performance for gaming and multicore performance for heavily-threaded tasks.
  • To ensure the CPU runs at full speed, air cooling with a dual-tower is recommended. The customer preferred liquid cooling with an RGB 360mm AIO for visual appeal.
  • The customer wanted a stable motherboard with a good amount of desktop functionality. This particular board gives them a ton of overclocking power, if they decide to do that in the future.
  • The customer wanted at least 32GB of RAM, with all channels filled.
  • The customer requested a 1TB NVME and 6TB HDD.
  • We recommended the RTX 2080Ti for gaming performance.
  • The overall design of the build meant that a 1300W power supply was recommended.
  • We used high-visibility white mid-tower case to fit the build.
  • We used our high-end RGB fans to ensure proper airflow and static pressure.
