This build is designed around a 24-core Core Ultra 275HX processor and an RTX 5090 Mobile 24GB video card.

Software Workload/Customer Need

This customer needed several new mobile workstations to handle their growing workload that would last a long time.

This build was designed for laser scanning and CAD in Faro Scene and Plant3D.

This build was influenced by our HYDROC G2 16 Core Ultra 9 RTX 5090 128GB Laptop.

Design Rationale

  • The Ul​tra​ 9 275​HX gave the customer a great amount of single-core performance for general use, multicore performance for heavily-threaded tasks, and solid support for 2 memory sticks.
  • The customer was fine with our recommended memory setup.
  • The customer was fine with our recommended storage setup.
  • The customer was fine with our recommended video card.
  • The customer opted for an external detachable liquid cooler for increased desk-side performance, as well as an extra AC adapter.
