Design Rationale

  • The Ryzen 7 7800X3D gave the customer a great amount of single-core performance for lightly-threaded workloads, and multicore performance for heavily-threaded tasks.
  • To ensure the CPU runs at full speed, air cooling with a dual-tower cooler is recommended.
  • The customer wanted a stable motherboard with a good amount of desktop functionality.
  • We recommended 32GB RAM for the particular workflow, 64GB+ is an easy upgrade for the customer to handle.
  • The customer agreed with our dual-drive storage recommendation.
  • We recommended an RTX 4080 for their preferred monitor.
  • We recommended a 1200W power supply based on the overall design of the build and giving room for a GPU upgrade.
  • We used our bigger mid-tower case to fit the build.
  • We used our high-end black fans to ensure proper airflow and static pressure.
