This build is designed around a 24-core i9-13900K processor and an RTX 4080 Super 16GB video card.

Software Workload/Customer Need

This customer needed a powerful new video editing workstation that would last a long time.

This computer is the Official Build for the Old Bastards Racing League (OBRL) and Top Flight Sim Racing.

This computer was influenced by our 4K/240hz iRacing Computer. This customer previously purchased The Racers Edge and Pit Stop.

Design Rationale

  • The i9-13900K gave the customer a great amount of single-core performance for editing and gaming, and multicore performance for heavily-threaded tasks.
  • To ensure the CPU runs at full speed, liquid cooling with a 360mm liquid cooler is recommended.
  • The customer wanted a stable motherboard with a good amount of desktop functionality. Black accents were desired.
  • The customer wanted at least 64GB of RAM, and wanted something that would last another 5 years. The customer wanted RGB accents.
  • The customer agreed with our recommended storage setup.
  • To best power the 4K/240hz display for iRacing, and fit in the customers budget, we recommended the RTX 4080 Super.
  • The overall design of the build meant that a 1200W power supply was recommended.
  • We used our bigger mid-tower case to fit the build.
  • We used our high-end RGB fans to ensure proper airflow and static pressure.
  • The customer wanted colored PSU cables for accents.
