Design Rationale

  • The i9-14900K gave the customer a great amount of single-core performance for editing, and multicore performance for heavily-threaded tasks.
  • To ensure the CPU runs at full speed, liquid cooling with a 360mm liquid cooler is recommended.
  • The customer wanted a stable motherboard with a good amount of desktop functionality.
  • The customer wanted to max the build out with 192GB of RAM, and didn’t want last-gen tech.
  • The customer requested a 2TB NVME for OS+programs, 4TB main storage, and 4TB backup storage.
  • The customer preferred the RTX 4090 for maximum general-purpose GPU compute, and a large amount of VRAM.
  • The overall design of the build meant that a 1200W power supply was recommended.
  • We used our bigger mid-tower case to fit the build.
  • We used our highest-end fans to ensure proper airflow and static pressure.

Customer Review

“These guys are great to work with!

I could have gone to another shop and got a computer for cheaper, but I wanted to work with a company I trusted and knew would build the right machine for our specific needs.

If you are in the 3D Laser Scanning space, I highly recommend working with this team.”
