Software Workload/Customer Need

This customer needed a powerful new workstation to handle their growing professional workload that would last a long time.

This build was designed for AutoCAD and Revit.

This customer previously ordered Station 266, Station 269, Station 270, Station 271, and Station 272.

Design Rationale

  • The Core Ultra 9 285K gave the customer a great amount of single-core performance for editing and modeling, and multicore performance for heavily-threaded tasks.
  • To ensure the CPU runs at full speed, liquid cooling with a 360mm liquid cooler is recommended.
  • The customer wanted a stable motherboard with a good amount of desktop functionality.
  • The customer requested 64GB of RAM, similar to their other CAD workstations.
  • The customer requested a single 2TB Gen5 NVME SSD.
  • The customer requested an RTX 5070Ti 16GB.
  • We recommended a 1200W PSU to allow for easy upgrades in the future.
  • We used our smaller mid-tower case to fit the build.
