Design Rationale

  • The Ryzen 7 9800X3D gives the customer a great amount of single-core performance for gaming, and multicore performance for heavily-threaded tasks.
  • To ensure the CPU runs at full speed, liquid cooling with a 360mm liquid cooler is recommended.
  • The customer wanted a stable motherboard with a good amount of desktop functionality.
  • The customer agreed with our recommendation for memory.
  • We recommended a triple-drive NVME array to help condense several external HDDs internally.
  • The customer agreed with our recommendation on the video card.
  • We recommended a 1000W power supply based on the overall build.
  • We recommended a smaller case that still allows for a microATX board.
