Software Workload/Customer Need

This customer needed a powerful new workstation to handle their growing professional workload that would last a long time.

This build was designed for photogrammetry with AgTek 4D and Trimble Business Center.

This customer previously purchased The Dirt Jedi.

Design Rationale

  • The i9-13900K gave the customer a great amount of single-core performance for lightly-threaded workloads, and multicore performance for heavily-threaded tasks.
  • To ensure the CPU runs at full speed, liquid cooling with a 360mm liquid cooler is recommended.
  • The customer wanted a stable motherboard with a good amount of desktop functionality.
  • The customer was fine with our recommendation for 128GB RAM.
  • The customer was fine with our default storage setup.
  • The customer didn’t need as much GPU power as on the previous machine, and was fine with our recommendation for an RTX 4070Ti.
  • While the overall design of the build didn’t require a 1200W power supply, we recommended one for future expansion.
  • We used our bigger mid-tower case to fit the build.
  • We used our highest-end fans to ensure proper airflow and static pressure.
