Software Workload/Customer Need

This customer needed a powerful new workstation to handle their growing professional workload that would last a long time.

This build was designed for LIDAR processing and photogrammetry in Trimble Business Center and Pix4D.

This customer previously purchased The Trimbler.

Design Rationale

  • The customer was fine with their previous CPU.
  • To ensure the CPU runs at full speed, liquid cooling with a 360mm liquid cooler is recommended.
  • The customer enjoyed their previous motherboard.
  • The customer needed another kit of 256GB RAM, and understood the price increase in January 2026.
  • The customer requested the same storage capacity, we upgraded the OS drive to Gen5 due to cost equality vs Gen4.
  • The customer requested the same RTX 5090.
  • The overall design of the build meant that a 1500W power supply was recommended.
  • We used our bigger mid-tower case to fit the build.
