Design Rationale

  • The Ryzen 9 3950X gave the customer a great amount of single-core performance for general use, and multicore performance for heavily-threaded tasks.
  • To ensure the CPU runs at full speed, liquid cooling with a 360mm AIO is recommended.
  • The customer wanted a stable motherboard with functionality for 2 internal capture cards.
  • The customer wanted at least 32GB of RAM. 64GB is an easy upgrade.
  • The customer opted for a 1TB NVME and 2TB HDD.
  • We recommended the RTX 2080 Super for streaming performance.
  • The overall design of the build meant that a 850W power supply was recommended.
  • We used a bigger mid-tower case to fit the build.
  • We used our default fans to ensure proper airflow and static pressure.
