Design Rationale

  • The Ryzen 3 1300X gave the customer a good amount of single-core performance for 1080p gaming, and multicore performance for heavily-threaded tasks.
  • We used the stock cooler to save money, the low-wattage CPU is fine with this cooler.
  • The customer wanted a stable motherboard with a good amount of desktop functionality.
  • The customer wanted at least 8GB of RAM.
  • The customer requested a 120GB SSD for OS and 1TB HDD for bulk storage.
  • We recommended the GTX 1050Ti for gaming performance.
  • The overall design of the build meant that a 500W power supply was recommended.
  • We used a mid-tower case to fit the build.
  • We used specific fans to ensure proper airflow and static pressure.
