This build is designed around a 24-core Core Ultra 9 285K processor and an RTX 4500 ADA 24GB video card.

Software Workload/Customer Need

This build was designed for photogrammetry and CAD, specifically for AgTek, Trimble Business Center, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD.

This customer needed a low-profile system that could fit in a conference room, while having enough power for handling processing workloads.

This customer previously purchased Kinkaid 1, Kinkaid 2, and Kinkaid 3. This build was influenced by Metron.

Design Rationale

  • The Core Ultra 9 285K gave the customer a great amount of single-core performance for general use, and multicore performance for heavily-threaded tasks.
  • To ensure the CPU runs at full speed, liquid cooling with a 240mm cooler is recommended.
  • The customer wanted a stable motherboard with a good amount of desktop functionality.
  • The customer was fine with our recommended memory setup.
  • The customer was fine with our recommended storage setup.
  • The customer was fine with our recommended video card.
  • We recommended a 1000W power supply based on the design of the build.
  • We used a special HTPC case to fit the build.
  • We used our high-end black fans to ensure proper airflow and static pressure.
