Core Ultra 9 Photogrammetry Workstation Overview
This Core Ultra 9 Photogrammetry Workstation is built around the Core Ultra 9 285K with an RTX 5080 16GB video card.
This combination provides a very powerful solution for modeling, pointcloud registration, and final rendering.
This workstation is designed for use in applications such as Metashape, Meshroom, Trimble Business Center, Pix4D, RealityCapture, Colmap, ContextCapture, and ReCap Pro.
Core Ultra 9 Photogrammetry Workstation Upgrades/Changes
If you need more than 16GB of VRAM, we recommend the RTX 4000 ADA 20GB, RTX 4500 ADA 24GB, RTX 5090 32GB, RTX 5000 ADA 32GB, RTX 6000 ADA 48GB, or RTX 6000 Blackwell 96GB.
If you need more than 256GB of RAM, we recommend a photogrammetry workstation build based on Threadripper, as it supports ECC memory. 384GB is the highest we can go on Threadripper non-Pro, without resorting to EXTREMELY expensive 128GB or 256GB DIMMs. 768GB is the highest we can normally go on Threadripper Pro, for the same reasons.
Core Ultra 9 Photogrammetry Workstation Limitations
This motherboard is currently limited to 24 threads, 1 GPU, and 256GB of memory. Please let us know if you need a more robust platform.
