i9 Software Development Server Overview
This i9 Software Development Server is built around the i9-14900K with an RTX A2000 12GB video card. This combination provides a very powerful solution for heavy code compiling workloads that don’t leverage GPU acceleration.
If your workflow benefits from GPU acceleration, we recommend at least the RTX 4000 ADA 20GB.
This build can be adapted from the current 4U rack to a 5U rack to accomodate a larger Geforce GPU (currently uses a smaller Pro GPU that costs more). This 5U rack costs about $350 more, including rails.
i9 Software Development Server Limitations
This platform is currently limited to 32 threads, 2 blower-style GPUs, and 192GB of memory. Please let us know if you need a more robust platform.
