Ryzen 9 Green Screen Workstation Overview

This Ryzen 9 Green Screen Workstation is built around the Ryzen 9 9950X with an RTX 5080 16GB video card.

This combination provides a very powerful solution for medium CPU-based shader compiling and fast viewport performance, in applications such as Unreal Engine, Aximmetry, and Pixotope.

Ryzen 9 Green Screen Workstation Upgrades/Changes

If your workflow requires a professional-grade GPU, we recommend the RTX 5000 ADA 32GB, RTX 6000 ADA 48GB, or RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell 96GB.

If you need more than 256GB of RAM, we recommend a build based on Threadripper, as it supports ECC memory. 384GB is the highest we can go on Threadripper non-Pro, without resorting to EXTREMELY expensive 128GB or 256GB DIMMs. 768GB is the highest we can normally go on Threadripper Pro, for the same reasons.

Ryzen 9 Green Screen Workstation Limitations

This platform is currently limited to 32 threads, 1 GPU, and 256GB of memory. Please let us know if you need a more robust platform.
