Description

Threadripper 7000 Broadcasting Server Overview

This Threadripper 7000 Broadcasting Server is built around the Threadripper 7960X with an RTX 4080 Super 16GB video card. This combination provides a very powerful solution for workloads like VMix and OBS, while giving the user a large number of PCIe slots for expansion cards.

If your workflow requires a large number of simultaneous NVENC streams, we recommend the RTX 4500 ADA 24GB, RTX 5000 ADA 32GB, or RTX 6000 ADA 48GB.

This build can be adapted from the current 5U rack to a 4U rack to accomodate a smaller Pro GPU (currently uses a larger Geforce GPU that costs less). This 4U rack costs about $350 less, including rails.

Threadripper 7000 Broadcasting Server Limitations

This platform is currently limited to 192 threads, 5 PCIe devices, and 1TB of ECC memory. Please let us know if you need a more robust platform.
