This combination provides a very powerful solution for workloads like VMix and OBS, while giving the user a large number of PCIe slots for expansion cards.
Threadripper 9000 Broadcasting Rack Workstation Upgrades/Changes
If your workflow requires a large number of simultaneous NVENC streams, we recommend the RTX 4500 ADA 24GB, RTX 5000 ADA 32GB, RTX 6000 ADA 48GB, or RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell 96GB.
384GB of RAM is the highest we can go on Threadripper non-Pro, without resorting to EXTREMELY expensive 128GB or 256GB DIMMs. 768GB is the highest we can normally go on Threadripper Pro, for the same reasons.
Threadripper 9000 Broadcasting Rack Workstation Limitations
This platform is currently limited to 192 threads, 5 PCIe devices, and 1TB of ECC memory. Please let us know if you need a more robust platform.
