Threadripper 9000 Photogrammetry Workstation Overview
This Threadripper 9000 Photogrammetry Workstation is built around the Threadripper 9970X with an RTX 5080 16GB video card.
This combination provides a very powerful solution for heavy workloads in Pix4D, Metashape, and/or RealityCapture that require more than 32 CPU threads or 256GB of RAM.
Threadripper 9000 Photogrammetry Workstation Upgrades/Changes
If you need more than 16GB of VRAM, we recommend the RTX Pro 4500 Blackwell 32GB, RTX 5090 32GB, RTX Pro 5000 Blackwell 48GB, or RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell 96GB.
If you also use this machine for LIDAR processing, please let us know so we can advise you of the best overall solution.
384GB of RAM is the highest we can go on Threadripper, without resorting to EXTREMELY expensive 128GB or 256GB DIMMs. 768GB of RAM is the highest we can go on Threadripper Pro, for the same reasons.
Threadripper 9000 Photogrammetry Workstation Limitations
This platform is currently limited to 128 threads, 4 GPUs, and 1TB of memory. Please let us know if you need a more robust platform.
