Threadripper Pro 9000 Photogrammetry Workstation Overview

This Threadripper Pro 9000 Photogrammetry Workstation is built around the Threadripper Pro 998​5​WX with an RTX 5080 16GB video card.

This combination provides a very powerful solution for heavy workloads in Pix4D, Metashape, and/or RealityCapture that require more than 384GB of RAM or can use more than 4 memory channels.

Threadripper Pro 9000 Photogrammetry Workstation Upgrades/Changes

If you need more than 16GB of VRAM, we recommend the RTX 4500 ADA 24GB, RTX 5000 ADA 32GB, RTX 5090 32GB, RTX 6000 ADA 48GB, or RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell 96GB.

If you also use this machine for LIDAR processing, please let us know so we can advise you of the best overall solution.

768GB of RAM is the highest we can go on Threadripper Pro, without resorting to EXTREMELY expensive 128GB or 256GB DIMMs. 2.25TB of RAM is the highest we can go on EPYC 9004, for the same reasons.

Threadripper Pro 9000 Photogrammetry Workstation Limitations

This platform is currently limited to 192 threads, 4 GPUs, and 2TB of memory. Please let us know if you need a more robust platform.
