Threadripper Pro 9000 Software Development Rack Workstation Overview

This Threadripper Pro 9000 Software Development Rack Workstation is built around the Threadripper Pro 9975WX with an RTX A1000 8GB video card.

This combination provides a very powerful solution for heavy code compiling workloads that aren’t optimized for Intel and don’t leverage GPU acceleration.

We can do a similar build based on Threadripper non-Pro, saving money while still having enough PCIe lanes.

Threadripper Pro 9000 Software Development Rack Workstation Upgrades/Changes

If your workflow benefits from GPU acceleration, we recommend at least the RTX 4000 ADA 20GB.

768GB of RAM is the highest we can go on Threadripper Pro, without resorting to EXTREMELY expensive 128GB or 256GB DIMMs.

Threadripper Pro 9000 Software Development Rack Workstation Limitations

This platform is currently limited to 192 threads, 7 PCI-E devices, and 2TB of ECC memory. Please let us know if you need a more robust platform.
