Description

Threadripper Pro Software Development Server Overview

This Threadripper Pro Software Development Server is built around the Threadripper Pro 5975WX with an RTX A2000 12GB video card. This combination provides a very powerful solution for heavy code compiling workloads that aren’t optimized for Intel and don’t leverage GPU acceleration.

If your workflow benefits from GPU acceleration, we recommend at least the RTX 4000 ADA 20GB.

This build can be adapted from the current 4U rack to a 5U rack to accomodate a larger Geforce GPU (currently uses a smaller Pro GPU that costs more). This 5U rack costs about $350 more, including rails.

Threadripper Pro Software Development Server Limitations

This platform is currently limited to 128 threads, 7 PCI-E devices, and 2TB of memory. Please let us know if you need a more robust platform.
