Overview of Recommended Hardware for 4-GPU Rendering (Threadripper 7000)

This Threadripper 7000 4-GPU Rendering Workstation is built around the Threadripper 7960X with quad RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell MaxQ 96GB video cards.

This 4 GPU workstation provides a very powerful solution for rendering needs in Octane, Redshift, Cinema 4D, and VRay.

This motherboard is limited to 4 single-slot GPUs and 4 dual-slot GPUs.

384GB of RAM is the highest we can go on Threadripper non-Pro, without resorting to EXTREMELY expensive 128GB or 256GB DIMMs. 768GB is the highest we can normally go on Threadripper Pro, for the same reasons. 2.25TB is the highest we can go on dual-EPYC, for the same reasons.

Threadripper 7000 4-GPU Rendering Workstation Limitations

This platform is currently limited to 192 threads, 4 GPUs, and 1TB of ECC memory. Please let us know if you need a more robust platform.
