Overview of Recommended Hardware for Revit (i7)
This i7 CAD workstation is built around the i7-13700K with an RTX 4000 ADA 20GB video card. This combination provides a very powerful overall solution.
This workstation is designed for use in applications such as Revit that require a Pro GPU driver for full functionality, or can leverage increased higher-precision compute. The RTX 4000 ADA 20GB also has ECC memory, smaller form factor, and lower power draw, all helping to create a more robust product for extended rendering sessions.
If you do not require an RTX 4000 ADA 20GB, we can change it to a different model to best suit your needs.
If you need more than 192GB of RAM, we recommend a build based on Threadripper 7000, as it supports ECC memory. 384GB is the highest we can go on Threadripper non-Pro, without resorting to EXTREMELY expensive 128GB or 256GB DIMMs. 768GB is the highest we can normally go on Threadripper Pro, for the same reasons. 2.25TB is the highest we can go on dual-EPYC, for the same reasons.
i7 CAD Workstation Limitations
This platform is currently limited to 32 threads, 1 GPU, and 192GB of memory. Please let us know if you need a more robust platform.
