“I ordered a computer from Top Flight Computers and I’m states away so it unfortunately something must have happened during shipping and it didn’t start up when I got it. It was packaged really well for shipping so I don’t think it was the company’s fault, but they were really helpful through the whole process and paid for someone local to me to take a look at it and get it working.
I have really loved my PC, my biggest complaint is likely that for my new job I don’t get to use it, because they want us to work on the equipment provided for us. I enjoy doing various types of CG work but I really don’t know anything about hardware or building a computer, so this company was a really good option for me.
The people are really kind and knowledgeable and I’m glad that when my computer showed up they didn’t make me feel stupid for not knowing how to diagnose the issue.
At the end of the day I was paying someone else to build my PC instead of learning to myself because I just don’t know anything about it, but a lot of times people who are knowledgeable about tech can be really pretentious and frustrating to communicate with for people who just aren’t.
Top Flight’s employees weren’t like this at all – they were kind and helpful through my fumbling. I didn’t feel taken advantage of either with my lack of knowledge, and I asked for a really weird range of uses because there’s a lot I enjoy doing at a hobby level but only some work I do at a professional level (I’m a modeler professionally but dabble in a lot of 3d skillsets) and no one was rude about that with me.
Since specialization is common professionally with CG, if you get a know-it-all type person they can be rude about a CG artist who does a little bit of this and a little bit of that, but the Top Flight employees were all fantastic.”

“BLUF: Best customer service and results money can buy.
Let me tell you about these guys. I was at my wits end with my custom build. I struggled through every part of getting the water cooling built into a system with a Core i9 9900KS with RTX 2080Ti. My Corsair based loop leaked, fried my mother board and I was literally crying on the floor in frustration. I took my computer to Intrex Computers, they took one look at the coolant loop and said “Nope.” I give them credit because they, without hesitation, immediately referred me to Top Flight Computers.
I sent them a request and within an hour got a reply from Chris Touchberry, the owner! That evening I dropped it off and I knew it was in good hands. Chris clearly explained the costs, what they would do, and worked with me to understand what was going to happen.
Over the next month he and Connor, who was directly working on my computer, kept in constant communication with more information, options, and updates. A month later I met them at their office and son of a gun if this isn’t the prettiest and most top notch computer I could have asked for. They completely revamped the cooling process, water cooled my graphics card, cleaned up all my wiring, and optimized the whole thing.
When it worked before it did damned well, now this machine is a beast. Service of this quality is something that’s pretty damn rare nowadays. You talk to these guys and you can tell they actually give a damn about your experience, and the quality of the products they’re sending out the door. It’s not the cheapest or fastest option, but if you want to get something done right, the first time, with the best result, these are your guys.
I will be doing business with them again in the future, and I already have a project in mind for them. Five stars without question.”

Rather than dealing with online configurators, the transaction began with a brief consult regarding what I was looking for as well as what my usage/software profile was. Once the specs were ironed out and payment settled, it was simply a matter of letting TFC do their thing.
Watching the build live on YouTube was neat: it’s reassuring to see teams that enjoy their work as well as demonstrate that they are good at what they do. I also like the fact that TFC encourages naming your build for that added personalization. I’m very pleased with what they produced for Imperial Tower, as well as the experience as a whole.
